Antec plans to further develop its channels within the Russian and CIS markets through its attendance at this week’s DCC CIS event. Antec, which focuses on high performance cases, power supplies and cooling products for the upgrade and DIY segments of the IT consumer market, will work together with its distribution partner Karin to identify the retailers and resellers most capable of buidling channel sales volumes throughout the region.
“Antec’s market-leading, innovative designs have earned widespread praise and awards around the world,” said Scott Richards, senior VP at Antec. “ We believe that the customers of the CIS will respond very favourably as they learn more and experience what others have. We know that there is an excellent opportunity in the developing market for high end computing solutions for gamers, quiet computing enthusisasts and power users.”
“Since we are just introducing ourselves to the market our primary aim is to find partners that can effectively sell our products, emulating the success we’ve had in other markets around the world in the retail channel,” he added.
“Antec has had more experience than any other company selling computer components business in the retail channel. We have successfully partnered with retailers in North America, Asia, and Western Europe so we know what it takes to succeed in this channel and have the dedication to the retail channel,” continued Richards.
Antec claims that its products allows retailers to get consistent strong margins. “We practice limited distribution to retailers that understand and are dedicated to the category for good turnover and margin,” explained Richards.
“We have just introduced our products in the CIS market at the end of 2007 beginning with Russia. Because we started from zero the sales growth is moving quickly. Our unique technology and high quality are the primary drivers of our growth. We are at DCC CIS to develop the market and accelerate the growth process,” he concluded.
